Yay MOMO and Ziggy! I finally colored it! ...and I still might fix a few things, but for now I thought I'd put this up. You can find the original lineart here. There's a long description of the scene posted with the lineart, but basically our favorite cyborg lost an arm in Xenosaga 2 and I had to draw it.

Anyway, I'm somewhat pleased with the coloring. I still have no idea what the heck I'm doing, but I think I'm getting better at this whole photoshop coloring thing. I attempted to do some reflections in the background on the surfaces that should be reflective, but I don't know how much that helped. I really need to acquire a eye for lighting first...

Nice touch with the reflection. That's hard to do. I would have added a little him to the relfection, but considering you have a vague light source, what you have is fine. good work on the coloring. ^^

Thanks. I tried to make the reflection easier by cutting a few corners (flipping the wall in a new layer, realigning, and messing with transparency to get the floor reflection) so it was a bit easier than drawing it over again.

I think I may be hindering myself with this 'vague light source' habit of mine. I really should try coloring something with a very distinct light source to get the hang of it.
